In our continuous search for product development, rEvo has extensively tested and as a result we are proud to offer you the rEvo full backplate.
The rEvo backplate is, with its 3D design, made in such way that it offers comfort with equal weight distribution over the back. The backplate does not negatively affect the work of breathing of the rEvo.
This backplate is backwards compatible with every rEvo III unit, and has no influence on the use of the sliding backplate and comfort harness.
The new rEvo backplate comes in two versions, a long and a short version, both available in stainless steel or titanium. So an answer for each diver’s demands.
The long version, ideal for taller divers, can only be used in combination with the rEvo stand.
For even more personalized adjustments, the waist belt can be looped through the backplate on 2 different heights, so the perfect fit for every diver’s preference.
If you want to go for light weight and travel friendly, then the titanium version is the one you need. For those who need more weight on the unit to compensate drysuits with thick undergarment, the heavy stainless steel version will fit better.
